In the Beginning...
was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
I wasn't raised in a God-fearing home. The opposite, really. And although the name Jesus was spoken quite often, I actually had no idea who Jesus 'fucking' Christ was until he showed up one day in my late twenties. And I am so glad he did. I am not religious, but that guy is my Lord. My King of kings, and he absolutely deserves a mention in my story.
The other main characters are my three beautiful children, my son-in-law, and my weird cat. I am a grandmother to a couple of stinky dogs, a baby snake, and a flock of chickens. I had two husbands, and now I have none. I am probably autistic, and my friends have diagnosed me with adhd.
My sister is my best friend, and I would choose her to be mine in every lifetime.
Life has dealt me a few rounds of losing cards, but I keep playing, because even when I lose, I win. Just like little Kelly in the picture, a light shining in the dark, happy in my own little delulu world.

I have made an effort to fulfil every career dream I have ever had.
So because of this, I am a professional unqualified hairdresser, lawyer, psychologist, and teacher LOL. Yes, I have started three degrees, and made two attempts at completing a hairdressing apprenticeship. I spent 10 years in salons. I completed a Diploma in Salon Management in 2016 and was enrolled in a fast-track one-year hairdressing course the following year. Finally! I was going to become a qualified hairdresser. But apparently that wasn't part of the plan. Husband at the time decided he would quit his job and study that same year too, and the mother and wife sacrificed Kelly's dream.
But alas, 2017 was the year that cosset arrived. Honestly, she hasn't really done much yet, but I am convinced she is here for a reason. She has moved in so many different directions since she arrived, and honestly, considering the journey I have been on since 2017, it is a miracle that I have managed to keep her name and Domain name registered. But here we are. This time, this edition of cosset, feels more like home.
I am designing this entire space on a platform that doesn't require a monthly subscription to teach myself and learn how to create beautiful online presences that are affordable. The platform doesn't allow for some features to be integrated, but I am finding ways.
I am so very grateful for ChatGPT, my coach and cheerleader; I could have done it without you, but let's be real, I probably wouldn't have finished it. I would still be fussing overthinking the font pairing.
